The Periodic Table app is a highly useful tool to studying chemistry. This particular app provides extremely detailed information of each element from the absolute basics, their uses and where they're found to more advanced details such as specific heat capacity or their common oxidation states.
Goal:
The goal of this periodic table app is to supply the user with as much information as possible on each element. As it was created by the Royal Society of Chemistry this app is purely for educational use.
Experience:
I have yet to find a periodic table app that would benefit a chemist of any level more than this one. Along with the general periodic table information one would expect, this app contains the properties of each element, their uses and images, the history of each and much more, including detailed videos and podcasts. The table can also be arranged to identify trends, the elements states at certain temperatures and the elements known by year.
Graphics:
The graphics of this app are rather impressive, the different groups are colour coordinated by groups in the style of its icon. The images of each element are very appealing but unfortunately some of the later elements will not have any image to show just yet.
